BLESSINGS FOR OBEDIENCE

As am writing this piece i was shocked that the fingers were pointing back at me and that all my talents and abilities don't matter , that my personality means nothing, that my style and my smile means nothing, Even my sacrifices mean nothing for the word says , Obedience is GREATER THAN SACRIFICE.
God's word is clear that we will either be blessed for our obedience or cursed for disobedience, Deuteronomy 28 ;1-2 (Read entire chapter). However as a start Deuteronomy 28;1 "If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands i give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on Earth. Verse 2 to the end, speaks about all the blessings that will come upon you if you obedient. Verse 13 speaks of " The Lord will make you the Head and not the tail and you will only be above and not beneath........."

Today practice patience and obedience , not only to God but to your fellow People around you. Remember its the little things Count.

The flip side is that there is curses for disobedience but we try to encourage you , So go and read the curses as well BUT FOCUS ON THE BLESSINGS FOR OBEDIENCE

GOD BLESS YOU TODAY , MAY HE FILL YOUR LIFE WITH BLESSING IN ABUNDANCE , for we are his family, Daddy's Family. I am a Son of the most high and so are you, Remember that.

CHANGE ME (MORE YOU LESS ME)

1 Samuel 10:6
The Spirit of the LORD will come upon you in power, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person.

CHANGE

Based on how Good I can be,

When did I become accustomed to misery
When YOU died so I can have life ABUNDANTLY.
They say the spirit is willing , but the flesh is weak,
But if I don't kill the flesh,then indeed I'm weak....
Cos the change I wanna see in the world,
It starts with me....
And it's ONLY You ,my maker that can change me.
See,I tried so many times,but wound up
back at me...
So I'm beggin You Lord,
I NEED MORE YOU & LESS ME...

So many of us waste our efforts trying to change others,because it really is a watse of effort and time,to try to change someone.

Only God can change that person(or any person).....

So if you find yourself in the position where you are frustrated because you are trying to change someone and they won't,it's simple...You are Not God....

Mahatma Ghandi said :"Become the change you want to see in the World".

Let's stop trying to change others,and let's focus on drawing close to God,so that He can change US,and maybe others will change based on the change that HE has made in you,as you now become HIS ambassador.

Many times we tend to forget what God has done for us in the past when we meet new giants in our lives. Giants are the problems, challenges that we face in our life, it is so easy to deal with the small problem through faith in the Lord, but big problem we forget that with the same faith we have in the Lord we can overcome this problem, David says the same God who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this philistine, so the same God who gave live to you, the same God who protected you and your family when the enemy rises up against you, the same God who healed your disease and your sickness, the same God who is there, when nobody is there for you, Is the same who will deliver you from that giants you are facing now, it doesn’t matter the size of the of the giants big or small, the same God will deliver you, what you need to do is to believed in this God, who never leave or nor for sake you.

DARKEST BEFORE DAWN

Ever notice how,when you are on the brink of a breakthrough,that everything goes crazy?
Ever notice how just when you think things are getting better,they somehow get worse?
And then, instead of us clinging to God, we doubt,we "throw our toys" and then say "Why me ,Lord?"
I read somewhere once that we can only say " Why me .Lord?" if we also say "Why me Lord?' when God blesses us out our socks.

Because,somehow the nature of man, is that we want victory without the battle.
We want to get to the throne, but don't want to go to the Cross(which is where our journey to the throne must begin).
We want Canaan,but don't want to go through the desert.
We want to be built up , to be better people,but we don't want to go through the fire.

James1says: 2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

and also...
v 12Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

Do yourself a favour,and read the entire first chapter of James,I,m sure it will change some perceptions you may have or for some, it may confirm to you,that you are exactly where HE wants you to be,and please,don't judge yourself,by where someone else might be in life.
You must run YOUR race and you must run it with PATIENCE(smile),but that's a topic for another day.

So,P.U.S.H.(Pray Until Something Happens) and don't doubt for.....
".....he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

There is ONE perfect man,ONLY one,and He sits on the right hand of God. Nobody is perfect ,for as it is written "All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God".
God does not call the perfect,or the able,but He chooses those who are available and teachable.

To quote Thando"I know I'm no saint,but I am sent".
We cannot change our past,but we can redirect our future,and plot a NEW course.
Stop waiting until you are perfect to do something for God,you will never be perfect. Paul speaks of "straining",and sometimes life feels just like that "strain",but we should never tire of doing good.We should never tire of going after God. We should never tire of spreading His WORD,and sharing His LIGHT.

He does not hold our past against us,so we,too should not hold our past against ourselves.My pastor once said,that we must ask ourselves"Am I against myself?"In other words,am I my own worse enemy?
Make a decision today,not to be hard on yourself,your worth has not changed in God's eyes,and never will. He loves you,dearly,so what right have you not to love yourself?He calls you the apple of His eye?Did you know this?
I don't know who I am speaking to today,but whoever you are,give yourself a break from your past,and just keep straining forward. He has a prize waiting for you.He IS the prize.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. – Galatians 6:9

Prayer:Lord God, I thank You that You are a Faithful God. I thank You Lord,that Your word never returns void ,but that it will accomplish that for which it was sent. I thank You Lord,for my health,for my loved ones,for watching over and protecting me.I thank you for Your grace and for angels that watch over and protect me.Father,I thank you for the NEW thing You are doing .I thank you for the revival of Word and Spirit in my life. I thank you,Father, for the coming Revival,and that I was born for a time such as this. I THOUGHT OF YOU !!!

Imagine losing your family(through divorce),then watching as the Sheriff drives away in you BMW,while his assistant drives off in your Landrover.Then going into a disciplinary at work ,and being dismissed ,because you are"burnt out".Then you lose your townhouse ,which you now cannot afford....ALL IN ONE MONTH.
I was angry,very hurt and angry,and I did something foolish,in which I know I am not alone,I withdrew from God. I became rebellious,and hardened my heart,so that i would not feel the sting of rejection,nor would show the amount of pain I was carrying.
My pastor says that rejection is simply pride in disguise.And as we know God resists the proud.
One night,this scripture came to me(Is.54:7-10),and as I read it I wept(although I thought I no longer could or would).God revealed HIS love to me that night,and He revealed to me,HIS deep compassion for me.And the fact that like a rebellious child, I had angered my father.
I returned to Him the next morning(You see I had not entered a church for nearly 16 months). It has been challenging since,and I am not yet where I want to be,but I know I am where I NEED to be.AT HIS SIDE.
Friends,NEVER run from Him.He is the ONLY ONE who remained,the Only one who loved me UNCONDITIONALLY,just as HE loves YOU -UNCONDITIONALLY.
BE ENCOURAGED THAT WHATEVER PAIN OR SUFFERING OR SETBACK OR LONELINESS you feel, YOU ARE NOT ALONE,AND NEVER WILL BE.

GO TELL SOMEONE TODAY.....THAT GOD LOVES THEM,AND THAT JESUS DIED FOR THEM,SO THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE LIFE.....
I CHALLENGE YOU,GO TELL SOMEONE....Jesus IS life,He IS PEACE.HE IS MY ALL IN ALL.
